Description

How about traveling millions of years into the past to save the dodo and other endangered species from extinction? Use the skills of your rescued animal cards to save new animals from the threatening comet. The skills on these cards will support your rescue efforts in a variety of ways. Maybe a flying dinosaur can even help you shorten the road?

The comet's tail has been drawing a thin line in the sky for a long time. But soon this line will grow into threatening fire trails that can destroy the basic conditions for the animals' life at any time. You don't know when exactly the comet will hit, but you know it will happen soon!

Use the time you have left to guide as many animals as possible to the safety of the cave. The young animals you hatch depend on you – their rescuer – to move them. Once you get them to safety, they will use their skills to help you with the next rescue operations.

In Comet you try to save as many prehistoric animals as possible before the comet hits. On your turn you can use your cards for:
A. hatch an animal (place your animal token on the game board)
B. move an animal according to the terrain spaces on the playing card
C. rest, which replenishes your hand cards up to your hand limit.

Once you have rescued an animal, it will appear in your personal tableau with which you can activate a temporary or permanent bonus. When moving your animals, you can use other players' animal tokens to skip fields and arrive at the end point faster. Comet offers a perfect mix of engine-building, set collection and racing elements.
