Where can I book a house for the DSV Games Weekend?
This can be done via our website, namely via this page .
Can I also book a house myself via Eigen Wijze?
No. It is not only the house that you book when you make a reservation for the DSV Games Weekend, but also the shared games room, the supervision in the games room, the activities, etc. Bookings can only be made via despelenvrienden.nl.
Can I book a specific house?
You cannot book a specific house number. There are options for special houses, for example for the disabled. Please contact us to see if these houses are still available.
Can I bring my pets?
That's allowed! When making your reservation you can indicate that you want to bring your pet.
What is included in the price?
What is included in the price depends on your booking. Below is an overview of the options:
– The cottage (for 4 or 6 people)
– Access to the games room ( depending on type of booking )
– Guidance at the games room ( depending on the type of booking )
– Access to all facilities at the Landal park, such as the subtropical swimming paradise! (For some facilities – such as bowling – you have to pay extra on site at Landal.)
– Extra activities during the games weekend, such as a quiz
– Telegram group for all guests (anticipation!)
– Shop with a discount at De Spelletjes Vrienden during the DSV Games Weekend

You pay this directly when booking a house
Do I get reward points for booking a house?
No, you only receive loyalty points for buying board games, card games and accessories from our webshop.
Can I use a gift voucher to book a house?
Yes, that's possible.
Can I use loyalty points when booking a house?
Yes, that's possible. However, you will not receive any loyalty points for your booking. You only receive loyalty points for purchasing board games, card games and accessories.
Can I pay afterwards?
No, post-payment is not possible for the DSV Games Weekend.
How old do I have to be to book a house?
We only accept reservations from persons who are 18 years or older. The main booker must also be present at the stay. Reservations made by persons under the age of 18 are not valid.
Stay
Which houses are there?
We have two types of houses available for the DSV Games Weekend: for 4 people and for 6 people. Both houses can be booked as ' Complete ' and ' Basic '. Here you will find more information.
Is there free wifi?
Yes, free WiFi is available throughout the park.
What facilities are there at the park?
As a guest of the DSV Games Weekend you can also use all the facilities that Landal offers. Think of the subtropical swimming paradise, entertainment program for the children, various (indoor) playgrounds, sports and games, restaurants and much more! View all facilities.
What kind of entertainment is there at the park?
You can find more information about this in the Landal app.
What can be rented at Landal?
Bicycles, family bicycles, children's bicycles, cross bicycles, hand carts, go-karts, pedal boats, children's buggies, tennis rackets and balls, mini golf sticks and balls.
Are there also special houses, for example for disabled people?
Some houses are suitable for disabled people. Please contact us to see if these houses are still available.
Can I choose my own house?
No, Landal has reserved houses for us. We cannot indicate a preference in this regard.
Change and cancel
I want to make a change to my reservation. How do I do that?
Contact us by email. We are happy to help you!
Can I still cancel my house? And what costs are involved?
Change(s) or cancellation of your reservation will only be processed if it is confirmed by email. The cancellation date is the date of the next working day following the day on which the email was received by De Spelletjes Vrienden.
Cancel more than 30 days before the start of the DSV Games Weekend
The costs for cancellation are 30% of the total travel sum up to 30 days before arrival.
Cancel within 30 days before the start of the DSV Games Weekend
In the event of a cancellation within 30 days before the start of the DSV Games Weekend and during the stay, the tenant owes 100% of the travel sum.
We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.
How do I take out cancellation insurance and travel insurance?
You can take out this with various insurers in the Netherlands and Belgium. We definitely recommend that you take out cancellation insurance and travel insurance in case you are unable to attend.
Arrival and departure
From what time can I check in?
Check-in is possible on Friday from 4:00 PM .
How do I check in?
On Friday you can go to reception from 4 p.m. to pick up the key to your house. Landal has made the layout of the houses and can tell you in which house you will stay. Would you like to come earlier? Then Landal will welcome you to the park earlier to use their facilities (such as the swimming pool). PLEASE NOTE: The games room is open from 4:00 PM; We are still preparing for this.
What time do I have to check out?
Check-out is possible until 10:30 am on Monday.
How do I check out?
You can return the key to reception no later than Monday at 10:30 am. PLEASE NOTE: Before you leave, on behalf of Landal, we ask you to leave the accommodation broom clean and to unload the dishwasher. You can also put the bed linen in the laundry bag in the hallway and take your waste to the waste containers. Thank you!

Games room
What are the opening hours of the games room?
The space is accessible during opening hours to guests with a Complete Booking. Guests with a Basic Booking can borrow games, participate in the quiz and receive explanations at the demo tables.
Friday: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Saturday: 10am – 10pm
Sunday: 10am – 10pm
Where can I find the games room?
At number 16 on the park map (Kempenstee).
Can everyone come and play games in the games room?
No, the games room is only accessible to guests of the DSV Games Weekend (booked via despelenvrienden.nl). The room is accessible during opening hours to guests with a Complete Booking. Guests with a Basic Booking can borrow games, participate in the quiz and receive explanations at the demo tables.
Can I eat and drink in the games room?
Yes, but we do ask you to keep it tidy, so that the space remains a pleasant place for everyone. We prefer that you eat your dinner in your own home or in the restaurant.
Can I bring my own games to the games room?
Yes, but you are responsible for your own games and keeping them complete and tidy.
Can I borrow your games to play in my own house?
That's allowed. This can be arranged on the day itself. Ask us in the games room for more information.
Which games are you bringing?
We will bring at least 200 games, but of course we will try to take as many as possible. When booking a house, you can indicate which games you would like to play, and we will do our best to include them. Here you will find the games list with games that will be included anyway because you have given up on them.
Are there also games for children?
Yes, we also include games for children.
I want to play games after 10 p.m., but the room is closed then...
Don't worry, there is a possibility to borrow games from us, so that you can continue playing in your own home.
Can I come by one day?
No, unfortunately there is no room for day guests. We need all the space for the guests of the DSV Games Weekend.
Corona
What happens if the weekend cannot go ahead due to corona?
The weekend will then be moved free of charge.
Are there any measures at the moment?
No, there are no more measures at this time. If they do come again, we will of course adhere to the government guidelines regarding corona in force at that time.
Can I cancel if I have a positive corona test / quarantine obligation at the time of departure?
That depends on your own cancellation insurance. View the conditions of the cancellation insurance you have taken out. We recommend checking this carefully with your own cancellation insurance prior to your booking to avoid surprises.
