Can I still cancel my house?

Change(s) or cancellation of your reservation will only be processed if it is confirmed by email. The cancellation date is the date of the next working day following the day on which the email was received by De Spelletjes Vrienden.

Cancel more than 30 days before the start of the DSV Games Weekend
The costs for cancellation are 30% of the total travel sum up to 30 days before arrival.

Cancel within 30 days before the start of the DSV Games Weekend
In the event of a cancellation within 30 days before the start of the DSV Games Weekend and during the stay, the tenant owes 100% of the travel sum.

We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.

Corona

What happens if the weekend cannot go ahead because of corona?
The weekend will then be moved free of charge.

Are there any measures at the moment?
No, there are no more measures at this time. If they do come again, we will of course adhere to the government guidelines regarding corona in force at that time.

Can I cancel if I have a positive corona test / quarantine obligation at the time of departure?
That depends on your own cancellation insurance. View the conditions of the cancellation insurance you have taken out. We recommend checking this carefully with your own cancellation insurance prior to your booking to avoid surprises.

Exclude right of withdrawal
Making a reservation for the DSV Games Weekend is final. The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to the agreement you conclude with De Spelletjes Vrienden regarding the DSV Spelletjesweekend.

Application
These general terms and conditions apply to all reservations made for the DSV Games Weekend. In these General Terms and Conditions, the term 'renter' and 'you' are defined as: the person who enters into an agreement with De Spelletjes Vrienden regarding the rental/use of accommodation and/or camping pitch and/or other facilities. The term 'user' (also referred to below as 'guest') is understood to mean: the tenant and the persons specified by the tenant who (will) use the accommodation and/or camping pitch and/or other facilities rented by the tenant. These General Terms and Conditions apply regardless of your (prior) reference to any own terms and conditions or to other general terms and conditions. The Games Friends rejects any terms and conditions referred to or used by you. Agreements deviating from these General Terms and Conditions are only valid if agreed in writing.

To book
The Games Friends only accepts reservations from people who are 18 years or older. Reservations from persons under that age are not valid. The Games Friends reserve the right to refuse deviating reservations or to impose special conditions without giving reasons. Immediately after receiving the confirmation, you must check it for accuracy and report any inaccuracies to De Spelletjes Vrienden.

Changes to the agreement
If, after the conclusion of the agreement, you wish to make changes to the agreement, De Spelletjes Vrienden are not obliged to accept them. It is at the discretion of De Spelletjes Vrienden and Landal GreenParks to determine whether and to what extent these changes will be accepted. In the event that De Spelletjes Vrienden accepts your changes, you may be charged change costs if these changes are requested 28 days or less before the start of your stay. If, after the conclusion of an agreement for more than one accommodation and/or camping pitch, you wish to reduce the number of accommodations and/or camping pitches, the cancellation conditions as described in these conditions apply.

In-place
The tenant and other users are not permitted to grant the use of the accommodation and/or camping site under any name and for any reason whatsoever to persons other than the persons mentioned in the agreement, unless otherwise agreed in writing with Landal GreenParks and The Games Friends. If you, Landal GreenParks and De Spelletjes Vrienden have agreed that you and/or one or more users will be replaced, you will remain jointly and severally liable to De Speletjes Vrienden for the payment of the tenant and/or users who replace you and/or other users. the part of the rental amount still owed, the change costs and any additional costs resulting from the replacement and any cancellation costs.

Prices
You owe De Spelletjes Vrienden the agreed rental price, as stated in the confirmation and invoice of the reservation. Price discounts and/or special offers can no longer be used once the confirmation of the reservation/invoice has been sent by De Spelletjes Vrienden. All prices include VAT where applicable unless otherwise stated. De Spelletjes Vrienden have the right to implement and settle price increases as a result of interim adjustments to legal regulations or provisions (including, but not limited to, VAT, tourist tax, insurance tax) over which De Spelletjes Vrienden has no influence.

Extra cost
In addition to the rental price, the tenant also owes costs for bed linen and tourist tax. If you cancel after 14 days after making the reservation or within 30 days before the start of your stay, the full administration costs remain due and are part of the total costs to be charged in the event of cancellation. The tourist tax contribution is determined by the relevant municipality where the park is located. The tenant always owes De Spelletjes Vrienden the tourist tax rate determined by the relevant municipality.

Payments
Payment must be made 100% immediately upon booking. Post-payment is not possible when booking a house for the DSV Games Weekend.

Savings points
You will not receive any savings points for booking a house for the DSV Games Weekend. We chose this because it allowed us to keep the price of the Games Weekend more affordable. You will receive loyalty points for purchasing board games, card games and accessories.

Arrival and departure
The rented accommodation can be occupied from 4:00 PM on the agreed day of arrival as stated on the reservation confirmation. The parks have the option to change the arrival time from 4:00 PM. On the agreed day of departure as stated on the confirmation of the reservation, the accommodation must be vacated before 10:30 am. If the use of the accommodation and/or camping site and/or other facility is terminated earlier than on the agreed date stated on the confirmation of the reservation, the tenant is not entitled to a refund of (part of) the rental price and/or costs by Landal GreenParks and/or De Spelletjes Vrienden. If you have taken out travel insurance and you meet the conditions set by the insurance company, you can submit a claim for damages due to early termination of your stay directly to the insurance company.

Regulations
All guests must adhere to the rules set by Landal GreenParks and De Spelletjes Vrienden for the parks, laid down in, among others, the Park Regulations and the Swimming Pool Regulations. You can request these Regulations from reception upon arrival. In accordance with local regulations, all guests are required to identify themselves upon check-in. If the guests cannot show proof of identification, Landal GreenParks may decide not to accommodate the guests. Each accommodation may only be occupied by the maximum number of people stated on the Landal GreenParks website for the relevant accommodation.

If the restaurant, café and room rental companies present in the park provide you with catering services or enter into catering agreements with you, the Uniform Hospitality Conditions apply to these services and agreements. A copy of these conditions is available on request at the park reception.

Landal GreenParks reserves the right to make changes to the design and opening hours of the park facilities, including partial or complete closure, without you being entitled to compensation. To carry out necessary maintenance, you will allow work to be carried out on the accommodation or other facilities during your stay without any right to compensation.

Deliver
The tenant must leave the accommodation broom clean (i.e.: do not leave dirty dishes, remove and fold bed linen, clean the kitchen and refrigerator, place a garbage bag in the container). The tenant must leave the camping site clean (i.e. do not leave garbage on the site but place it in garbage bags in the container). The tenant and users are obliged to rent bed linen from Landal GreenParks at the accommodation.

Offence
In the event of violation of the rules included in these General Terms and Conditions, the Park Regulations and/or Swimming Pool Regulations and/or failure to follow instructions from the staff, Landal GreenParks has the right to immediately remove you, the tenant and any other user from the park, without that the rental sum or part thereof will be refunded. If the park management seriously suspects that the tenant of an accommodation is acting contrary to the law and/or public order and/or good morals, the park management is authorized to gain access to the accommodation.

Pets
Depending on the accommodation and/or camping site, a maximum of one or two pets of the tenant or users are allowed by Landal GreenParks. If you and/or other users wish to bring pets, you must indicate this immediately when booking. In that case, Landal GreenParks will charge you a surcharge, which you will pay. Landal GreenParks reserves the right to refuse pets at the park (without stating reasons). Pets are not allowed access to water features, swimming pools, restaurants, indoor center facilities and other public facilities in the park (unless otherwise stated locally). Pets must be kept on a leash outside the accommodation. Instructions on site must be followed. Pets may not cause any nuisance to other guests. A dog basket must be brought along for dogs and protection against fleas is mandatory for dogs/cats brought along, with drops, pills and a flea collar sufficient. Caged animals may be taken along for free, provided this is specified when booking.

Use accommodation
The tenant/user and those accompanying the tenant are each jointly and severally liable for the orderly conduct of affairs in and around the rented accommodation, camping site and/or elsewhere in the park, and for the use of the accommodation and/or camping site and the equipment present therein. In addition, the tenant/user and those accompanying the tenant are always jointly and severally liable for damage due to breakage and/or loss and/or damage to inventory and/or accommodation. Any damage must be immediately reported by the tenant to Landal GreenParks and immediately reimbursed on site, unless the tenant can demonstrate that the damage occurred is not due to the fault of himself, other users or one of the members of his company.

Internet use
Depending on the accommodation and/or camping site, Landal GreenParks offers the tenant/user and those accompanying the tenant access to the internet via a WiFi network or via cable. The tenant is responsible for the correct use of the internet as well as the necessary hardware and software, configuration, peripheral equipment and connections to support this and measures to secure the computer or operating system. Landal GreenParks is not liable for damage resulting from the use of the internet or as a result of network disruptions. The tenant/user and those accompanying the tenant must behave when using the internet as may be expected of a responsible and careful internet user, must respect the legal rules and refrain from behavior that causes nuisance or nuisance to other internet users. where damage is caused to Landal GreenParks in the broadest sense of the word. The tenant/user and those accompanying the tenant will refrain from visiting websites that are unlawful in nature or that are inconsistent with the reputation of Landal GreenParks as a provider of accommodation and/or camping pitches. If it is discovered or suspected of nuisance from third parties and/or (other) internet abuse by the tenant/user or those accompanying the tenant, Landal GreenParks has the right to block access to the internet completely or completely without further notice. The tenant indemnifies Landal GreenParks and De Spelletjes Vrienden against claims from third parties for compensation for damage that these third parties could (attempt to) recover from Landal GreenParks and De Spelletjes Vrienden in any way, insofar as this claim is based on the use made by the tenant/user and those accompanying the tenant, the internet is made.

Deposit
Landal GreenParks and De Spelletjes Vrienden may require a deposit from you at the start of your stay. The deposit amounts to a maximum of the total amount of your booking per accommodation and/or camping site. If circumstances give reason to do so (e.g. groups), the required deposit may be increased by Landal GreenParks. The deposit serves to guarantee damage and/or costs - in the broadest sense of the word - that Landal GreenParks and/or De Spelletjes Vrienden may suffer in the event of non-compliance with the obligations of the tenant/user and those accompanying the tenant. . If the deposit is not paid immediately, Landal GreenParks is entitled to deny the tenant and/or other users access to and use of the accommodation and/or camping pitch. If you fail to pay the deposit, Landal GreenParks and De Spelletjes Vrienden are also entitled to terminate (cancel) the agreement with immediate effect. The deposit or any remainder thereof will be refunded to the tenant and/or users after settlement of claims (damage to inventory/accommodation and/or other costs) from Landal GreenParks and/or De Spelletjes Vrienden. Any (further) claims for compensation will not be nullified by this refund.

Force majeure and change
In the event that Landal GreenParks and/or De Speletjes Vrienden are temporarily or temporarily unable to execute the agreement in whole or in part due to force majeure, Landal GreenParks and/or De Speletjes Vrienden may within 14 days after becoming aware of the impossibility to fulfill the agreement, submit a change proposal (for other accommodation/other period, etc.). The suspension of the fulfillment of the obligations by Landal GreenParks and/or De Spelletjes Vrienden is permitted if circumstances beyond the control of Landal GreenParks and/or De Speletjes Vrienden arise. Landal GreenParks and De Spelletjes Vrienden will under no circumstances be obliged to compensate any damage or costs. Force majeure on the part of Landal GreenParks and/or De Spelletjes Vrienden exists if Landal GreenParks and/or De Speletjes Vrienden is prevented from carrying out the agreement in whole or in part, temporarily or otherwise, due to circumstances beyond the control of Landal GreenParks and/or or The Games Friends, including danger of war, staff strikes, blockades, fire, floods and other disruptions or events.

Liability
Landal GreenParks and De Spelletjes Vrienden accept no liability for theft (including theft from bungalow lockers and swimming pool lockers), loss or damage of or to property or persons, of any nature whatsoever, during or as a result of a stay at one of our parks and/or or the rental/use of accommodation and/or camping pitch and/or other facilities of Landal GreenParks, unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of Landal GreenParks or (one of) its employees.

Landal GreenParks and De Spelletjes Vrienden are not liable for service disruptions or defects in services provided by third parties. You/the tenant and each user are jointly and severally liable for all loss and/or damage to the rented accommodation and/or camping pitch and/or other property of Landal GreenParks and/or De Spelletjes Vrienden arising during its use by you and/or others. users, regardless of whether or not this is the result of actions or omissions by yourself and/or by third parties who are in the park with your permission. You/the tenant indemnify Landal GreenParks against all claims regarding damage from third parties resulting from any act or omission by yourself, other users, your traveling companions or third parties who are in the park with your permission. In case of improper use or improper abandonment of the accommodation, including but not limited to excessive pollution, additional costs will be charged, which you are then obliged to pay immediately.

Complaints
Despite the care and efforts of Landal GreenParks and De Spelletjes Vrienden, you may be of the opinion that you have a justified complaint with regard to your holiday accommodation. You must first report this complaint on site and directly to the management of the park where you are staying. If the complaint is not handled to your satisfaction, you have the opportunity to submit the complaint in writing no later than 1 month after departure from the park of your stay to: Landal GreenParks BV, Guest Service department, PO Box 95991, 2509 CZ The Hague or via guest service @landal.com stating reservation number, name and address details, date of stay, park name and accommodation number. The complaint will then be handled with the utmost care. If this does not lead to a satisfactory solution, you have the opportunity to have the complaint handled by the Recreation Disputes Committee in The Hague up to 3 months after departure from the park or to submit the complaint to the competent court according to the law. . The decision of this committee has the force of a binding advice.

Applicable law
The agreement between you, De Spelletjes Vrienden and Landal GreenParks is exclusively governed by Dutch law.

Travel documents
You are responsible for having the valid travel documents required for your destination. Landal GreenParks accepts no liability for the consequences resulting from not having the correct travel documents.

Privacy
All information you provide to us will be included in a file of De Spelletjes Vrienden and Landal GreenParks. The data file is used for our guest administration. This data can also be used to provide targeted information and offers about our and related products and services, both by ourselves and by third parties. In order to tailor this information and promotional offers to your interests as much as possible, we may have your data combined with data known to other companies. A detailed description of how we process your data can be found on the Landal GreenParks website under the “privacy” section. At your request, we will correct, supplement, delete or shield your data, for example if the data is factually incorrect. This may mean that you can no longer use (part of) our services. You have the right to request that we inform you whether personal data relating to you is being processed. General
Landal GreenParks and De Spelletjes Vrienden will send their correspondence digitally, unless this proves impossible. Obvious printing and typographical errors do not bind Landal GreenParks and De Spelletjes Vrienden. These General Terms and Conditions cancel all previous publications of general terms and conditions.
