Description

Everyone is already dead in the underworld. It's time to join the factions of Bone, Flesh, and Spirit as they work to achieve the Underworld's goal: gather enough forces to take on the Celestials and end their ceaseless war. If players work diplomatically in Court of the Dead: Mourners Call to maintain the balance, they can ensure that the underworld survives long enough to achieve their collective and hidden individual goals as well. The player who best contributes to these goals will earn the favor of death and a place among the underworld's elite.

You are a Mourner - a supporter of Death - dedicated to supporting his noble ambition to end Heaven's war and restore balance to the universe. However, the purpose of death also includes your own ulterior motives. You and your fellow Mourner must unite and rise together, but only one Mourner can overcome. Your task will not be easy. While the underworld is united in its goal, it is divided in its strategy to achieve that goal. There are three factions in the Land of the Dead: Bone, Flesh, Spirit.

You will need to strategically manipulate your influence within these factions if you want to achieve your goals. But beware: the power within mortal souls - known as Etherea - is a dangerous substance. Use it carelessly and you risk summoning the Dreadsgrip - a destructive force within every Mourner that consumes everything it touches, including its former master. Are you strong enough to realize your own ambitions and become the champion of the unifying force that all Mourners ask for?
