This dice version of Boonanza uses harvest cards in addition to the dice. Each harvest card has 5 different assignments, which consist of bean combinations. As soon as you have formed the bottom combination of the harvest card with the dice, you have also completed an assignment and your harvest card increases in value. With three combinations, the harvest card gives you one ducat. All combinations give you three ducats.
After each dice roll, set one or more dice aside. Once the fifth die has been set aside, the turn is passed. But be careful: all other players can benefit from your dice. As soon as someone can form their own combination immediately after rolling the dice, that opponent may indicate this on their own harvest card. The game ends once someone has collected 10 ducats. There is then one last harvest. Whoever has collected the most ducats wins!
Boonanza: The Dice Game keeps you alert. Because you can also complete assignments on someone else's turn, you have to constantly pay attention to what is being rolled. Moreover, you have to make choices: do you hand in your harvest card now and continue with your next harvest card? Or can you squeeze an extra ducat out of your harvest?
