Roll & Write games are hip!
If you like playing board games, you've probably come across the term quite often, because Roll & Write games are super hip! Roll & Write games are games where you throw a number of dice and write down the dice result on your score sheet. That dice result can be a number, but sometimes you also have to put crosses or color in boxes. The fact is that Roll & Write games are in great demand and that a new one seems to be released almost every month. Are you already addicted to Roll & Write?
Railroad Ink
One of our personal favorites is Railroad Ink. This addictive Roll & Write game comes in two different versions: Railroad Ink (Deep Blue version) and Railroad Ink (Fiery Red version). Railroad Ink is a competitive puzzle game for the whole family. You roll the dice and then all players draw the result (the routes) on their game board. In this way they create networks of roads and railways, which they have to connect with each other to score as many points as possible. Each version contains two small expansions. In the blue Railroad Ink you get to work with rivers and lakes and in the red Railroad Ink you also draw volcanoes and meteors.
Corinth
Corinth is a Roll & Write game set in Corinth, in the fourth century BC. You are a merchant who meets with other merchants to sell goods. Persian carpets, Cretan olive oil, Roman grapes and Egyptian spices are worth gold! As a player, you send your faithful servant to the market, deliver goods to the shops in the harbour and build buildings to grow your business. Will you become the best merchant in Corinth? Then you win this fun Roll & Write game!
Time and Time Again
Keer op keer is a tactical and popular Roll & Write game for the whole family! Each turn you choose a dice color and a dice number, which you combine with each other. In this way you can, for example, tick off 4 blue boxes. You get bonus points for complete columns, if you have completely ticked off one color and for remaining jokers. By making tactical choices, you tick off the right boxes yourself and leave the bad dice results for other players.
Patchwork Doodle
Patchwork Doodle is a Roll & Write variant of the popular board game Patchwork. In Patchwork Doodle, the dice determine which patch you can draw on your sheet. After every 6 turns, there is a count and you get points for the most valuable rectangle that you have colored. Furthermore, during the game you have four special actions, which you can perform once. In Patchwork Doodle, all players take turns at the same time, so that no one has to wait for their turn. You can also play this Roll & Write version solitary.
