Spicy expansion on Catan, in which players deploy knights to protect the island against invading barbarians and develop their cities into metropolises. A copy of the base game is required to use this set. It is also possible to combine Cities and Knights with The Mariners of Catan. Cities and Knights now also has new artwork and playing pieces for even more gaming experience! This expansion set can only be combined with the latest edition of the base game (the 2012 edition with the plastic parts). In Cities and Knights you start with a city instead of a village. The game features commodities such as coins and paper, which you get when a number is rolled to your city. You need these commodities to expand your cities in three areas to higher levels, with the ultimate goal of creating a metropolis worth no less than 4 points. Just like in the basic game, you roll the dice at the start of your turn, but now a symbol die is added. This determines whether you earn a development card or whether the barbarian ship comes closer. When the barbarian ship arrives on the island, the players must defend themselves with knights. Knights cost 1 ore and 1 wool and must be activated with a grain. Anyone who does not arm themselves properly can easily lose a city to the barbarians. However, if you have the most activated knights, you will be declared the savior of Catan and rewarded with a point. To win Cities & Knights, you have to collect 13 points. Cities & Knights is an exciting expansion to the base game that requires more strategy and planning. It makes the game a little more complex, but you get a lot of fun in return.

The island needs your help in this cooperative board game! There have been powerful spirits on this isolated island since time immemorial. They are part of the natural world and at the same time something supernatural. Local residents, the Dahan, have learned to live alongside the spirits, but with a healthy dose of caution and respect. However, the island has now been “discovered” by invaders from a far away country. These would-be settlers take over the land and disrupt the natural balance, destroying the presence of the spirits along the way. As spirits, you must develop your qualities and work together to drive the invaders off your island before it's too late! Each round the spirits take action simultaneously, using their properties to push back the invaders, strengthen the island and help the local population, the Dahan. However, the spirits start small and limited, and must learn new tricks to compete with the rapidly advancing invaders, who, based on game-driven actions, spread across the island and build settlements, causing death and destruction along the way. sow. To win, the spirits (with the help of the Dahan) must destroy the invaders and chase away any survivors. However, the game ends in defeat if the island is overrun by the plague, if a spirit is completely destroyed, or if you act too slowly and cannot drive away the invaders in time. Are you a fan of cooperative games such as The Legends of Andor and Paleo, but are you looking for something a little more complicated and challenging? Then you might really like Spirit Island. The basic game alone is very variable with its many different spirits and random factors. Let alone if you also add some more extras such as concrete opponents and higher difficulty levels. Spirit Island is ranked incredibly high in the BoardGameGeek games rankings, so for cooperative gaming enthusiasts, the question isn't if you want to play it, but rather when! In Spirit Island you try together to ensure that the invaders do not overrun the island. Each round consists of 5 different phases, in which different things happen. Within each phase, the players play simultaneously, where they are allowed to discuss freely. Talking at the table is not only allowed, but usually necessary to win. In the spirit phase the spirits grow, gain energy and are allowed to play trait cards. In the second phase the players handle fast properties, in the third phase it is the turn of the game-controlled invaders. They send out their scouts, destroy the land and build various settlements. After they are ready, the spirits deal with their slow properties. In phase 5, the players prepare for the next round. At the start of the game, the invaders are at panic level 1. They are not afraid of the island and probably don't even know about the existence of the spirits. To win, you must completely clear the island of invaders. Earning Fear Cards will help you reach new levels of Panic with easier victory conditions. If you meet the current victory condition at any time, you win immediately. The invaders have then taken more than they can handle and all leave the island. You can lose in 3 ways: too much land has been destroyed, a spirit has been destroyed, or time has expired. Try to prevent that together and save the island!

Here's the Carousel token pack: a must-have collection for Blood on the Clocktower fans looking to expand their games with all the experimental tokens released so far. This set includes all the experimental characters we've released to date, allowing you to delve deeper into the ever-expanding world of Blood on the Clocktower . It also includes three token boxes, providing ample space to keep everything organized and ready to play. What is the Carousel? The Carousel is an experimental token set , a collection of physical tokens containing every experimental character released so far. This includes all the experimental characters from the Kickstarter Edition (with potentially updated abilities), but excludes characters from the base game, as those are not experimental. The term "experimental" means just that: we expect most abilities to be in their final form and will eventually appear in planned expansion scripts, but some are still subject to change. Many other experimental characters have not yet been publicly revealed. What is the Carousel not? The Carousel isn't an expansion in the sense of composite character sets released with their own scripts and design goals. This is different from the three core sets you already know and love, or the sets teased in the final pages of the main rulebook. The Carousel bundles all the current experimental characters into a single physical product. This allows personal players to access the same set of experimental characters available in Blood on the Clocktower Online . This way, everyone gets the same Clocktower experience while we continue developing the expansion scripts. What's in the Carousel? This product has been kept simple to create an affordable option for those who want these tokens sooner rather than later. There's no fancy display box, no scripts (as this isn't an expansion), and no physical almanac. What you do get are seven punch boards filled with all those shiny new tokens, including memory tokens and a few extra night tokens. There are also three specially designed token boxes, which (with a little careful planning) fit neatly inside the Grimoire. Note: We assume you know this, but the Blood on the Clocktower game is required to fully utilize the Carousel tokens. Unless, of course, you just want to look at the beautiful icon graphics.
