Six Sojourns is a new take on Eight-Minute Empire. It's a short area control game full of tough choices, creative strategy and tactics, and lots of player interaction. Your goal in Six Sojourns is to grow your family and expand its influence. Players take turns choosing 1 card from 5 face-up cards. Each card contains actions that allow you to build houses, acquire ships, move, and recruit new family members. In addition, cards have special abilities and sets of icons that represent your family's expertise in various crafts, such as cooking, carpentry, sewing, shoemaking, art, blacksmithing, and jewelry making. In each game, you only choose 9 cards, which means you face tough choices every turn as you focus on crafts, skills, or the card. Once all players have 9 cards, the game ends. Then you count the victory points and the player with the most points wins. Each sojourn adds new cards and rules. You can customize your experience by playing the 6 sojourns as a campaign, or by going through each sojourn in order.

For eons, entropy was an inescapable force of nature. But then humanity learned to understand it, harness it, and even bend it to their will. You have dedicated your life to learning how to shape the inner workings of the universe to your will—or rather, to the will of your people. You are about to become a scientist, a member of the most respected caste. Now it is time for the final exam. You must prove that you can create new solar systems, bring stars to life, form a variety of biomes, and ultimately seed planets with life. It is only a simulation, and there are limits to what you can do here; this is science, not magic. You are not alone. Throughout the complex, fellow apprentices are entering their own rooms and beginning the same trial. Only one of you will join the caste. This is your moment of truth. Entropy is played over a variable number of rounds. On each turn, you move your scientist 1 to 3 spaces clockwise around the main board. You end your movement on an inner action space of the main board or on an outer space of an action tile, and then resolve that action. You build solar systems with stars, planets, and asteroids, and fill them with life by playing cards. You can also acquire various special abilities by adding biomes and upgrading your console. The end of the game is triggered once 2 of the 6 main goals have been completed. The player with the most victory points at the end of the game wins.

As you take your first steps into the world of alchemy, your goal is to uncover mysteries hidden since the beginning of time and surpass everyone in the quest to become the greatest alchemist the world has ever known. In Trismegistus, players take on the role of 19th-century researchers who have discovered the notes of Trismegistus and are trying to follow his formula for creating the Philosopher's Stone. Over three rounds, representing the years of their promotion, they conduct various experiments and win and transmute metals using mysterious artifacts. At the end of the game, players score points based on their published research, their knowledge of the primordial elements, and their progress towards creating the Philosopher's Stone itself.
