White Goblin Games Stacking City - Board Game
In Stapelstad you are a contractor who is going to build a residential area. You try to choose the best plots of land on which to build houses. The game board consists of a grid of fields with different values from 1 to 5 in a certain color. During a turn you take 2 colored cards from the draw pile and add them to your hand (with a limit of 5 cards in hand) or you discard cards to build a building(s) on a space with the corresponding color of the card, after which you take 1 new card. When you build a building, you must build it adjacent to an already existing building and discard 1 or more cards of the color corresponding to the space you want to build on. You can play a maximum of 5 cards. For each card you play, you may build 1 building on the field. You then receive a number of points equal to the number of dots on the field, multiplied by the number of buildings you have built. You can build multiple buildings during a turn.

Happy Meeple Mycelia: The Strategic Mushroom Game - Board Game
Mycelia is a dynamic game of tactics that revolves around the space and resources to create your own mushroom kingdom. The game follows the life cycle of fungi, a journey of creation, expansion, death, and rebirth - in terms of the game, growing mushrooms to score points, spreading them to expand your mycelial network, and ultimately letting them decay to to unlock special promotions. In a turn, a player has two actions from the six options available. Using your decay actions, stealing spores, and blocking other mushrooms are just a few ways to progress in the game. Players can evolve their own playstyle, such as playing more aggressively to steal other players' spores or disrupting their mycelial network - or perhaps playing more defensively to protect their own territory and spores. The board consists of triangular tiles that represent different environments and nutrients that the mushrooms need to grow. These tiles can be added to the board by the players, so that the board is constantly growing and evolving. Mycelia combines beautiful and accurate botanical illustrations of more than 69 mushrooms found in the wild.

Liberation Game Design Dutch Resistance: Orange will Win - Board Game
It is early 1943. The occupying forces are becoming increasingly dangerous and are treating the Dutch population increasingly poorly. Many house searches and danger on the street ensure that your freedom is increasingly restricted. Family, friends and acquaintances are brought to Germany. Their fate is unclear, but you suspect that things will end badly for them. You're fed up! The decision to resist the occupier has been made. You are going to do something about this, in every way possible, regardless of the consequences. You accept that it could kill you, because something has to be done about this. It's clear that you can't do this alone. So you've found a number of people who think the same way as you do. Together you form a resistance group that helps in the liberation of the Netherlands. In Dutch resistance: Orange will Win! you play a character who decides to rebel during the later years of the war. You try to shorten the occupation, thwart the occupier to keep his influence as low as possible, keep yourself and your family safe and prepare the Netherlands for life after the war. There is one important goal that you pursue to win the game: increasing the influence of your resistance group by completing missions. The number of missions determines the length and difficulty of the game. Avoid the patrols, keep everyone safe and help the liberation before you get arrested and your resistance group loses the game.

Allplay Habitats - Board Game (ENG)
In the Habitats game, each player builds a vast wildlife park without cages or fences. The animals in your park need their natural habitats: grassland, shrubs, rocks or lakes. For example, the zebra needs a large area of grass and some adjacent water, while a bat needs rocks, bushes and water, a deer needs bushes and grass, and a crocodile needs mainly water. There are snakes, baboons, bees, elephants, otters, lizards, turtles, eagles, meerkats, scorpions, boars, catfish, rhinos, and so on, each with their own landscape requirements - a total of 68 different animals. Each player starts his individual park with an entrance tile and is represented on the animal tile market by a meeple. On a turn, a player takes the tile to the left, right or in front of him, moves his figure to the space just vacated and then draws a tile to place it where his figure was at the beginning of the turn. When adding an animal tile to your park, you also add the main landscape - the basic tile for the animal - to your park. While placing this new animal, your own piece of landscape can help fulfill the demands of other animals, for example the water on a hippo tile meeting the water needs of the adjacent otter. Thus, it becomes increasingly difficult to meet every need of the land of all animals as you add more tiles. In addition to expanding your park with different landscape types, flora and animals, you can improve its profitability by building additional access roads, hiking areas and observation towers. Habitats lasts three seasons, with each player receiving 6-9 new tiles for their park in each season. Whoever best meets the season goal will receive bonus points, with a smaller number of points for second and third place. At the end of the game, each player scores for each tile in their park based on whether that tile's requirements have been met. Whoever scores the most points wins!

Devir The Red Cathedral - Board Game (ENG)
Autumn is not the best time to climb a scaffolding in Moscow, but it is still much better than doing it in winter. Tsar Ivan wants to see results and our team will prove to him that we are the best builders in town. We will surely finish those decorative arches with the most glittering stones and secure our place on the list of the government's trusted workers. Sheila Santos and Israel Cendrero make up the game designing duo known as Llama Dice. To date, they have released several titles with various Spanish publishers (1987 Channel Tunnel, Mondrian, Smoothies), and The Red Cathedral is the first game they published with Devir. Pedro Soto (Holmes, Sherlock & Mycroft, Papua) and Chema Román (El mundo de Águila Roja) created the game's graphics, with a great tribute to Ivan Bilibin, an iconic Russian artist from the early twentieth century. Despite being from a much later period, his influence is very recognizable in the game. The Red Cathedral is a strategic board game in which players take on the roles of construction teams. Their task is to jointly set up St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow, as ordered by Ivan the Terrible. However, only one of them will be able to win the Tsar's favor. During the game, players can perform one of three actions: allocate a section of the cathedral, send resources to that section to build it, or move to the game board to obtain more resources. Each of these actions has its own mechanics and requires players to keep a close eye on what the other players are doing. Once the sections of the cathedral have been assigned, players take possession of the spaces in each column that form their section. The more sections are built and the more towers are added to each section, the more points the player will receive at the end of the game. The players can send resources to the cathedral sections they have claimed. When they complete each of those sections, they receive rewards in cash and prestige points. They can also add decorations to the finished areas to gain even more recognition from the Tsar. This part of the game also works like clockwork, as once a player completes the construction of their sixth section, the game ends. The game board shows us the iconic rondel of The Red Cathedral. Here the players can obtain all the necessary types of resources to work on their work on the cathedral, as well as favors from the guilds and professionals to make the most of their visit to the market. In the central roundel, players choose the die they want to use and move as many spaces as are shown at the top of the die to obtain the resources indicated in the space indicated by the die. The Red Cathedral is a very accessible game in terms of rules, as it is very easy to understand the different levels of the game, but it remains very interesting in terms of strategy. It will certainly please those who are more interested in the challenge of strategically optimizing their position in each game than in the complexity of the rules.

LudiCreations On the Underground Paris New York - Board Game (ENG)
In "On the Underground: Paris/New York" players build the Paris Métro lines or the New York City Subway lines. Each player controls 2-4 different lines depending on the number of players. You can perform up to four actions; building rails by placing one of your track tokens on the board or taking a branch token. A player can use two branch tokens to branch off an existing line (whereas lines can normally only be expanded at the ends). After each player's turn, a passenger token is moved along the players' lines, using as little walking as possible, to reach one or two destinations determined at the start of the turn. Destination cards corresponding to the stations visited are then replaced with new cards, after which it is the next player's turn.

Salt & Pepper Games Take a Seat - Board Game (ENG)
“Take a Seat” introduces an innovative mechanic called Share & Write, where the randomness is created through player interaction (rather than with a die or a card). On each turn, players are given a panel and must decide whether to use the usher's ability or receive points directly. They must then mark a reservation on the board to their right or left (depending on the turn) by scratching one of the 4 tickets from the reservation panel. Finally, they must assign seats in the theater by marking the perimeter and circles corresponding to the selected pieces in the previous step. The game lasts 14 turns. Once it's over, move on to the final score. There are 3 areas to score points: goal cards, reservation majorities and an usher bonus. Players add all points together to get the total score. The player with the highest score wins the game.

Combining cards correctly allows you to have better and more varied options in later turns. Whoever builds the best functioning new civilization after three eras wins.

Quality Beast Philosophy - Board Game (ENG)
Philosophy is a relaxing, abstract two-player game. In this game you and your fellow player are two friends having a conversation. The board represents your conversation space, and your pieces represent your ideas. The aim of the game is simple: connect 3 of your ideas in a row somewhere on the board. This is called a Conclusion. You will take turns placing your ideas on the board, with the restriction that new tiles can only be placed in the nine central spaces. Each tile has a space it will face with a unique effect. When placed correctly, a player's tiles can push or pull the opponent's tiles. Moved tiles can also push adjacent tiles or even enter the target space of the current player's previously placed tiles, causing chain reactions. Tiles that are eventually pushed off the board are returned to the player who owns them. The game ends when a single player has reached a Conclusion: three of their tiles connected in a line, horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Philosophy often feels more like a puzzle than a competitive game, as the state of the board becomes more complicated and changes between turns. The soothing theme, simple mechanics, tough decisions and high-quality production come together to deliver a high-quality experience for avid players and casual players alike.

Salt & Pepper Games The Battle of Versailles - Board Game (ENG)
"The Battle of Versailles" was a fashion show that took place in 1973 in Versailles, France, where five American designers competed against five French designers. The American designers, including Anne Klein, Halston, Oscar de la Renta, Stephen Burrows and Bill Blass, were considered more innovative and less traditional than the French designers: Yves Saint Laurent, Hubert de Givenchy, Emanuel Ungaro, Pierre Cardin and Christian Dior . The American designers ultimately won the competition and thus strengthened their position in the fashion world. The event received widespread media attention and is considered a turning point in the history of fashion. In the game "The Battle of Versailles", players take on the role of the team of France and the United States, who face each other by playing action cards to show off their best dresses, attract the most popular celebrities, or the to annoy an opponent by spreading gossip. They also compete to contribute more to the reconstruction of the Palace of Versailles than their opponent. The French player has five actions per round, which matches the classic but overly long show (2 hours and 30 minutes) they put on, while the American player only has three actions per round, because their show was fresh, innovative and short ( only 37 minutes).

Oink Games Town 77 - Board Game (ENG)
In Town 77 — located just down the road from Town 66 — residents can't stand seeing houses of the same shape or color next to each other. Try to build as many houses as possible, but keep in mind which houses in your hand can be built at the end. In Town 77, each player has a hand of tiles, with each tile showing one of the seven house styles in one of the seven colors/patterns. (The color/pattern of a tile is also visible on the back.) The game contains a total of 49 tiles, one for each possible combination. Each player starts with a random hand of tiles. The first player places a tile in the top left corner of an imaginary 7x7 square. Then each player adds a tile in his turn to a row or column in this square, as long as this tile is adjacent to at least one other tile and the color/house style is not yet present in this row and column. After playing a tile, a player can choose whether or not to draw a new tile. Once you reduce your hand size, you cannot increase it anymore. If you cannot play a tile on a turn, you are out of the game. Once everyone is out of the game, whoever has the fewest tiles in hand — or who played last in the event of a tie — wins. If you play your last tile you win, but if you don't draw any new tiles you risk not being able to play anymore!

Oink Games Tiger & Dragons - Board Game (ENG)
Players in Tiger & Dragon draw tiles from their hand to participate in waves of attack and defense. Be the first player to clear their hand to score points based on one of the ten score cards used in this round. The game contains 38 tiles: 36 numbered tiles with one 1, two 2's, etc. up to eight 8's, along with a tiger and a dragon. Shuffle the tiles face down, then each player takes tiles based on the number of players, with the starting player taking one additional tile. For example, with four players, the starting player takes ten tiles and all other players take nine. At least one tile remains out of play. The starting player attacks by playing a tile from their hand. The next player can choose to either pass or defend the attack by playing the same tile. Note that the dragon defends against every odd numbered tile and the tiger against every even numbered tile. After defending, you place your own tile to attack. If a player passes, the next player can either pass or defend. If all other players pass your attack, place a tile from your hand face down and then choose a new tile to attack again. When attacking with the dragon or tiger, a player can defend with any odd- or even-numbered tile, respectively. The first player to empty their hand wins the round and scores points based on the last tile they played and the specific scorecard for that round. They get 1 bonus point for each time their attack remained undefended. At the end of a round, if a player has scored 10+ points, they win.

Horrible Guild Similo: Harry Potter - Card Game (ENG)
Similo is a cooperative deduction game, and each version of the game - for example Fables, History, Myths - comes with a deck of thirty cards, beautifully illustrated by Naïade, with the portrait and name of a series of characters with a common theme. Your goal is to get the other players to guess one secret character (out of the twelve characters shown in the center of the table) by playing other character cards from your hand as clues, indicating whether they are similar or different of the secret character. After each turn, the other players must remove one or more characters from the table until only the correct one remains and you win - or are removed and you lose! You can play with one of the Similo sets on their own, for example using the cards from Fables both for the characters explained and for the clues given to the riddles, or you can use the cards from one set for the twelve characters on the table and the cards from another set as clues. The game is much more challenging this way! The Games Friends: “Similo is such a great game for a quick snack. You play a game in 10 minutes, but still have the feeling that you have completed a full game. Highly recommended for fans of Dixit, Mysterium and Obscurio!"
