Plague is played in 6 rounds. Each round, before players take their turns, a plague card is revealed showing how the plague will spread that round. During their turn, players can choose from many actions on their player board using a unique action selection system.

This allows players to move their team around the board, quarantine and heal infected people, rebuild, assign workers, harvest resources, and more.
