The year is 1862 and the US Congress has decided that a railway line should be built that will span the entire continent - connecting the East Coast and West Coast by rail for the first time. The Transcontinental Railroad will be an epic feat of engineering - combining advanced construction techniques with raw human strength and determination. There is a fortune to be made for those who can build the track the fastest! Your job is to build an efficient team of workers, plot your route and race against the other players to connect both coasts first!

Pacific Rails Inc is a worker placement, engine building, Network and route building, euro game for 2 to 4 players and is played in approximately 1 hour. The players use their workers to gather resources, while at the same time hiring specialists to man their train. When they activate their train engine, their specialists convert the resources into different track types: bridges, tunnels, tracks or install them on the map to connect locations. The aim of the game is to create a railway line that connects the east coast to the west coast!
