Description

In Neotopia, a competitive and fast-paced pattern building game with tile placement, you are part of a team of visionaries building a futuristic pilot city in energy, technology, community and sustainable food.

You build elements in the three regions of the city to complete the cards you have in your hand. A good combination of tile placement and map management can result in very impactful turns, completing multiple maps and expanding the city. Interaction between players is important because all players build on the same board and can benefit from what other players have built in their previous turns.

You try to build as harmonious a city as possible, because that is crucial for your score: at the end of the game you normally score the regions where you have your two highest scores, but you triple the score of your lowest scoring region. So pay attention! Even though it is tempting to build on regions that are more developed and where you have already scored a lot of points, if you do not start working on developing the other regions you will not be able to win the game. Balance is the most important point in Neotopia, as is the kind of future the players are trying to build.
