The adventure continues! Storm clouds are gathering and the seas are turning rough - do you have what it takes to overcome these obstacles and write a new chapter in history? As if the life of a privateer in the Caribbean wasn't exciting enough, an ocean of new possibilities stretches out before you. With new project cards you expand existing ones, adding new effects and variation to the game. New home bases give players individual skills. You can optionally play a new campaign, with new Legacy Tiles and a new story (which ties into the original story, but can be played without completing the original campaign). And last but not least, an optional scenario lets you help drive the colonial powers out of the Caribbean again. And other surprises....

Maracaibo: The Uprising contains a wealth of new modules and scenarios that you can mix and match as you please: from the simple to the complex, with familiar and entirely new concepts.
