Embark on a grand adventure to Erebor, the Lonely Mountain, and meet its steadfast ruler, King Dain Ironfoot. Set sail from the Gray Havens, home of the venerable Círdan the Skipper, eldest of the Elves. Lead your armies from Rhûn, or launch an assault on the Shire with the fearsome Men of Dunland.

Fire and Swords is the new expansion for War of the Ring The Card Game, designed by Ian Brody. This expansion broadens the game's horizons by introducing fresh battlefields for the "War in the North", along with new factions and a new location type called Skirmishes, populated by numerous characters from the Lord of the Rings saga.

Within Fire and Swords you will discover a wealth of content, including 60 faction maps, 9 additional paths and 9 new battlefields. Additionally, you'll dive into 13 skirmishes, representing the smaller settlements and fortifications such as the Fords of Isen and Bree. Three new factions join the battle: the steadfast Northmen who fight for the Free Peoples, along with the fearsome Easterlings and cunning Ruffians allied with the Shadow.

This expansion can accommodate up to six players, with customizable scenarios tailored for smaller groups. Plus, experience solo/cooperative gameplay with all-new Shadow Maps, seamlessly integrated with the already available Against the Shadow expansion for solo adventurers.
