Explore the undiscovered regions of Arnak! Twisted Paths is the final major expansion for Lost Ruins of Arnak. It adds a new double-sided map larger than the base game; each side has its own layout, research track, and temple, plus brand-new mechanics and components (such as new temple tiles and a new resource: Dark Tablets). You can explore the day side of the map and ascend the Owl Temple, or brave the night and venture into the dark caverns of the Spider Temple.

The highlight is the large, double-sided board with two new research tracks, each with unique rules and components. On the day side, you climb the white stone of the Owl Temple. This side uses new temple tiles that, when combined, can create additional idol spaces, and introduces a third research marker, a lantern, which unlocks even more powerful research rewards.

On the night side, you'll explore the dark caverns of the Spider Temple. Here, a new resource, dark tablets, will appear, allowing you to summon mysterious altars and place artifacts directly on the research track to use during your ascent. Beware: dark tablets offer powerful rewards, but can also cost you points if you become overly ambitious.

Besides the two new maps, the expansion also includes new guards, locations, and assistants. For solo play, there's additional content: Rival tiles for the new boards, plus Purple Rival tiles and Rival Objectives—two mini-expansions previously released online as print-and-play.
