Description

In Kyoto no Neko, two to four players play as kittens exploring the modern city of Kyoto, Japan, through a series of independent, replayable scenarios. Each scenario requires players to complete a variety of missions representing typical feline activities, from befriending a schoolboy to fighting an aggressive stray cat to stealing the other player's food. During each game, each player will evolve, developing their skills and gaining the opportunity to explore new areas of the map by climbing on bushes and rooftops. Using a skill system, Kyoto no Neko allows each player to interact with various inhabitants of Kyoto, both animal and human. Each turn offers the opportunity to discover something new about the city, as players uncover elements ranging from small insects to specific objects or Kyoto residents.
