Fyfe - Board Game (ENG)

Description

All players start a game of FYFE with the same board. During the game, they decide not only which tokens to use, but also how to score them. In each round, they have the choice of placing one of two tokens. If there is no scoreboard pointing from the edge of the player board to the token just placed (vertically, horizontally, or from one of the two diagonals at the top of the board), a scoreboard must be placed immediately. Players can choose from one of their remaining 15 scoreboards. Once a scoreboard is completed, it is turned over. The first to complete a task receives extra points. Bonus points also await if placing a single token completes two, three, or even four scoreboards.

Good planning and choosing the right moment to place the wooden pieces and scoreboards pays off in this abstract tile-laying game by Kosch. Lucky charms give the players individual skills that they can use once in the game. Once all 25 spaces on the board are filled, the game ends. The one who has best combined his scoreboards with the drawn chips wins a game of FYFE.
