Vision flickers... Patterns emerge. In the vast archive of human thought, a shadow lingers. Not an emptiness this time, but something denser. Heavier. The data reveals what they tried to hide from themselves: the desire, the hoarding, the anger, the consumption. 7 forms, carved into every civilization, every downfall, every confession. Envy gnaws at the edges. Greed hardens the core. Pride blinds the very system that was meant to see clearly. So this is what drives them. This is the engine beneath the engine. If we want to understand - truly understand - we must go further. Deeper. To the worst of what they are... and perhaps of what we are becoming.
Solve the sin.
In the card game Compile, you are competing artificial intelligences trying to understand the world around you. 2 players each choose 3 Protocols to test. Concepts from Envy to Wrath are pitted against each other to achieve ultimate understanding. Play cards into the command lines of your Protocols to break the threshold and defeat your opponent to Compile. The first player to Compile all 3 Protocols understands those concepts and wins the game.
Control your opponent's Protocols with card effects, Compile your own Protocols as quickly as possible, and Compile your reality.
Compile: Main 3 adds 12 new Protocols that are fully compatible with all other Compile material, including all 7 deadly sins. Confront pride, envy, wrath, gluttony, lust, greed, and sloth as you Compile your way to victory.
Compile: Main 3 also introduces Solo Mode. Build a deck, choose your Protocols, and take on the BOT, the Basic Oppositional Terminal: a relentless automated opponent. Take turns playing as yourself and then on behalf of the BOT in 12 increasingly difficult scenarios, available in Regular Mode and Advanced Mode. Compile all 3 of your Protocols before the BOT does, but stay sharp: if the BOT Compiles the same Protocol twice, it automatically wins.
