Description

Champions of Midgard is a middleweight worker-placement game, in which players are leaders of Viking clans who have traveled to a embattled Viking port city to help defend it against the threat of trolls and other mythological Norse beasts. By defeating these epic creatures, players will gain glory and the favor of the gods. When the game ends, the player who has earned the most fame will earn the title of Jarl and be recognized as a Champion of Midgard!

By placing workers, resources and warriors can be collected. The warriors can then send players on a journey to neighboring villages or they can slay monsters at sea and gain the glory they need for victory. Resources are used to craft runes, build ships, and feed your crew. Viking warriors battle the countless enemies the city faces.
