The fortress tiles form the basis of this expansion. Throughout the game, you can place meeples on them. If you then draw a tile with a siege symbol, the besiegers will advance, potentially triggering an attack. This can earn you points, but also cost you meeples if your fortress isn't well-defended. Fortunately, counterattacks also take place to drive off the besiegers and their catapults. Will you keep your land well-protected?
