Everyone in the city is looking for a cozy little café where they can relax with a good book, something tasty to eat and of course delicious caffeinated drinks. As a capybara with a love for coffee, it has always been your dream to open your own business. Now is the perfect time! But you're not the only one opening your doors hoping to attract customers. Rival coffee shops are popping up all over the city and it's up to you to make sure you have the right food, drinks and decor to turn your visitors into regulars. Create a delicious menu and decorate your business to create the perfect atmosphere. You might have the busiest cafe in town!

Each turn you play a card from your hand, either purchasing it as food, drink or item for your cafe, or serving the customer on the card and earning money. If you fully meet a customer's needs, they will become a regular customer and earn additional endgame points!

Café Baras is a card drafting and tableau building game designed by Roberta Taylor and illustrated by Cindy Monroy. The game, from the creative team behind Creature Comforts and Maple Valley, is suitable for 2-4 baristas and takes approximately 30 minutes.
