Beyond the Sun - Board Game (ENG)

Description

Beyond the Sun is a space development game in which players make collective decisions about humanity's technological progress in the Spacefaring Era. But it is of course not just about cooperation, you also want to become the leading faction in the field of economy, technology and space travel.

The game is played over a number of rounds until a number of objectives have been achieved by the players. The winner is then the faction with the most victory points. You get those victory points by developing technologies, improving your economy and by colonizing areas.

On your turn, you move your figure to an empty action space and then perform that action. Then it's time for the production phase where your population grows and you can trade goods. Finally, you can try to achieve an objective.

You develop your technologies on a 'technology tree', in which you work towards better possibilities. This means you can try many different tactics and every game is different!

The Games Friends: " Beyond the Sun is a very fun game that plays smoothly. Because the technology tree is different every game, the replayability is high. The turns are also short and the actions are clear, so it is never boring. The artwork could have been a bit nicer, but that is compensated by the quality of the game. "
