Future Imperfect is a modular extension for Anachrony, with four new modules that expand its capabilities across new horizons. These modules can be played on their own, but they are also compatible with each other and with current and future Anachrony modules and expansions. Neutronide Buildings offers a set of 4 new buildings that become increasingly effective the more power plants you have. The Hypersync module gives you a Capital action to perform without actually placing an Exosuit and in the future use the new Hypersync action to let your placement affect the past. This puts serious strain on the space-time continuum, increasing the risk of paradoxes, but often the risk is worth the reward and flexibility. This module is supported for 1-4 players (Fractures of Time expansion required for solo play.) With the Quantum Loops module you are no longer limited to warping from your own timeline: the module opens up parallel universes where resources are more plentiful, the locals are eager to join your cause, or their technology allows you to shorten your own travels through time... The possibilities multiply with a new Warp Tile that gives access to the powerful Quantum Effect cards, but beware - to close a loop to a parallel universe, you'll need a real breakthrough... This module is supported for 1-4 players (Fractures of Time expansion required for solo play .) The Intrigues of the Council module simulates the political machinations of the World Council and brings two new aspects to the game: a new layer of player interaction and customizable endgame scores influenced by the players. By sending Exosuits to the right place at the right time, players can receive bonus resources and compete to build a tableau of Agenda tiles, which replaces the base game's endgame condition score. This module is recommended for 3 or 4 players. The Games Friends: " Future Imperfect is a great expansion to Anachrony. The different modules make the replayability even greater. For centuries, the Novarchs, descendants of the royal House of Novarchon, have ruled humanity's galactic empire, the Domineum, with an iron fist. During this time, they brought remarkable technological advancements and scientific breakthroughs to their domain. This accelerated progress helped the Domineum reach and colonize even the furthest reaches of the known galaxy, where new Houses emerged to rule the outer sectors of the Empire. As the House of Novarchon grew in power, so did the religious cult surrounding them, making dire predictions about an ancient cosmic being from another dimension: the Voidborn. Many considered it just a myth, but in reality it was the dark influence of the Voidborn that gave the Novarchs the knowledge to accelerate the expansion of the empire. While the sect of the Novarchs dreamed of eternal life through the agency of the supernatural being, the Voidborn's sole purpose was to satisfy its eternal hunger. And so, interdimensional fissures opened in the heart of the Domineum to unleash cosmic corruption. Voidfall is a 4X game that brings the genre to the tables of Euro enthusiasts. It combines the excitement and player interaction of the 4X genre with the resource management, informed decisions and minimal luck factor of an economic Euro. Win by pushing back the Voidborn in solo/co-op mode, or by overcoming the influence of your rivals and restoring the Domineum in competitive mode, with both modes using the same rules and game system. Variability is guaranteed by multiple playable houses with their own strengths and weaknesses, as well as many different map setups for all game modes. As the leader, you'll play through three cycles, each with a game-changing galactic event, a new scoring requirement, and a set number of focus cards to play. By selecting two of their three impactful actions as you play them, you develop and improve technologies; make progress on your civilization tracks; manage the infrastructure, population and production of your sectors; and conquer your new sectors with up to five different types of space fleets. Space battles are fought against the infected forces of the Voidborn (who are even present as neutral opponents in competitive mode) or against other players. Instead of relying on the luck of a dice roll, the battles reward careful preparation and cleverly outsmarting your opponents.

Practice your craft and gain wisdom by collecting herbs, brewing potions, healing the townsfolk, mastering charms and saving your fellow brothers and sisters from trials. But beware: magic, even when used for good, arouses suspicion among the townspeople... Simultaneous Action Selection with Positive Player Interaction: Septima's central mechanic revolves around the simultaneous, secret selection of one of nine action cards: Move, Gather, Brew, Heal, Recruit, Plea, Chant, Rite, and Remember. Each action gains a powerful bonus if chosen by multiple players, but performing them together also arouses the townsfolk's suspicions and attracts the attention of the witch hunters. Decisions about when to perform a shared action (and with whom) adds a fresh, semi-cooperative touch to a competitive game and plenty of player interaction. Save witches to build your Coven: heal, enchant or convince the townsfolk and gather enough support to influence the periodic witch trials in your favor. When the hostile witnesses are voted out, the convicted witch is acquitted and joins the coven that saved them. You start small, but you can expand your coven this way to up to four witches, each with their own personality and special ability to help your cause. Reckless witches captured by witch hunters are also put on trial, so with enough support from the townspeople, even witches from the coven of other, less careful players can end up in yours. Accessible, intuitive and familiar, Septima is Mindclash Games' most approachable title yet, with a beautiful hand-drawn art style by Villő Farkas and featuring Barbara Bernát's character art, wooden components and intuitive theme-inspired mechanics. It's very quick to learn and set up, and takes less than 2 hours to play, even with four players.
