Dixit game
Dixit is one of the most fun board games of the moment. In this fairytale game you have to let your imagination run wild. Dixit is a real family game and is also suitable for people who do not like games. The game cards are beautiful to look at and because of the many details you can interpret all the cards in many ways. The replayability of Dixit is therefore great! The board game can be played with 3 to 6 people.
How do you play Dixit?
In Dixit, each player has six cards in their hand with beautiful illustrations. When it is your turn, you describe one card from your hand with, for example, a word, a sentence, a gesture or a sound. The other players in turn also choose a card from their hand that they think fits this description. All chosen Dixit cards are now shuffled and placed face up on the table. All other players must now guess which card belongs to the storyteller. Do they choose correctly? Then you both receive points. Do they choose the card of another player? Then that person takes the points. But be careful... if everyone guesses the card correctly, the storyteller does not receive any points at all. So it is important to make your hints clear, but not too clear.
Dixit extension
Are you ready for new Dixit cards? Then there are a lot of expansions with which you can expand your basic game, such as Dixit Memories, Dixit Daydreams and Dixit Quest. Each Dixit expansion contains 84 new cards that you can combine with the basic game of Dixit or with Dixit Odyssey. Each Dixit expansion contains a different theme with matching dreamy illustrations. The Dixit 10th Anniversary expansion is very special; it was released exactly 10 years after the release of Dixit and contains illustrations by all the illustrators who worked on the previous editions.
Dixit Odyssey
Dixit Odyssey is a stand-alone version of the game. This version of Dixit contains 84 new playing cards, a game board, new score tokens and playing materials to play Dixit with up to 12 players (instead of a maximum of 6).
