Oink Games Town 77 - Board Game (ENG)
In Town 77 — located just down the road from Town 66 — residents can't stand seeing houses of the same shape or color next to each other. Try to build as many houses as possible, but keep in mind which houses in your hand can be built at the end. In Town 77, each player has a hand of tiles, with each tile showing one of the seven house styles in one of the seven colors/patterns. (The color/pattern of a tile is also visible on the back.) The game contains a total of 49 tiles, one for each possible combination. Each player starts with a random hand of tiles. The first player places a tile in the top left corner of an imaginary 7x7 square. Then each player adds a tile in his turn to a row or column in this square, as long as this tile is adjacent to at least one other tile and the color/house style is not yet present in this row and column. After playing a tile, a player can choose whether or not to draw a new tile. Once you reduce your hand size, you cannot increase it anymore. If you cannot play a tile on a turn, you are out of the game. Once everyone is out of the game, whoever has the fewest tiles in hand — or who played last in the event of a tie — wins. If you play your last tile you win, but if you don't draw any new tiles you risk not being able to play anymore!

During the setup, a trail of food is laid out. On their turn, a player can move any ant to the next food item in the track that matches its color (red ant to apple, purple ant to grapes, and so on). The player then takes the food token directly in front of or behind the ant, and keeps it to score points at the end of the game. However, players cannot be sure how much the food will be worth until the corresponding ant reaches the anthill at the end of the track. This creates shared interests as players work together to advance some ants and hold back others. Along the way, players also have the chance to pick up chocolate, which can be turned into special promotions, and wine, which offers a way to score bonus points.

One player reads a question where the answer is a number. The active player must guess a number close to - but not higher than - the correct answer. Players take turns making a guess that is higher than the previous player's, or they shout "Dare" if they believe the previous player has guessed too high. When "Dare" is called, the answer is checked and the player who got it wrong has to keep the card for "Silly Goose points". Once a player has collected a certain number of cards, the game ends, and the player with the most Silly Goose points loses. Everyone who remains wins. Almost no table space is required, so the game works well as a party game in almost any setting. "How Dare You?" Comes with 2 optional advanced rules that make the game more interesting: "Doubling": If you guess a number that is at least twice as high as the previous player's, you get a "doubling card." This card negates one "Silly Goose point". This variant tempts players to make higher gambles. "Double Dare": When challenged, you can accept the challenge and check the answer, or you can respond with a "Double Dare". The player who is wrong now receives a double penalty (two cards instead of one). But the player who started the challenge now has the option to back out and withdraw their challenge. If they do, they must instead guess a higher number before the round continues as normal.
